Float U Humboldt isn’t a luxury spa pretending to be exclusive; it’s a recovery space built intentionally for real people who need real rest.

We created Float U because modern life is loud, fast, and overstimulating, and most “wellness” spaces don’t actually leave room for you to slow down. Here, recovery isn’t rushed, performative, or intimidating. It’s grounded, supported, and designed to work.

Our space includes three private, fully functional showers, and every session is intentionally spaced so you’re never pushed in or rushed out. Towels, slides, and water are always included, because taking care of yourself shouldn’t come with hidden steps or upsells.

Float U Humboldt is home to the only XL float suite in Humboldt County, spacious enough to float solo or comfortably accommodate two people. Our facility is ADA compliant, because recovery should be accessible, not exclusive.

Every float room is private and customizable. You control your experience using Amazon Alexa, allowing you to choose your own music through Amazon Music, adjust lighting, or opt for complete silence. We also provide earplugs and hair protection so you can fully settle in without distraction.

We’re also the only wellness space in Humboldt offering private contrast therapy, with an infrared sauna and cold plunge together in the same room; no shared spaces, no exposure, no interruptions.

At Float U, you don’t need to “look the part,” know the lingo, or fit into a wellness mold. We’re regular people who believe recovery should feel welcoming, informed, and effective. Whether you’re managing stress, training hard, healing your nervous system, or just exhausted, this space was built for you.
